20/09/11 - Three More Cider Producers Join Us

Therealalecompany.co.uk is pleased to announce the arrival of Fosseway Cider, The Orchard Pig Cider and West Croft Cider to our stable.

Fosseway Cider first made a small batch of cider just over three years ago and have not looked back since. They have been nominated as Best Drink Producer in the Blackmore Vale Taste of Somerset awards and won a Second in class at this year's Royal Bath & West of England Show.

The Orchard Pig Cider produce wonderful, lightly sparkling ciders. These premium ciders are made from a mix of over 10 varieties of hand-graded apples, harvested from unsprayed and naturally maintained orchards. Crushed, pressed and fermented, the ciders are matured for at least six months to produce the depth of flavour that is proving so popular.

West Croft Cider is a traditional cider farm, located at the foot of Brent Knoll and within reach of Burnham-on-Sea and Brean. Established by John Harris 5 years ago, the award winning ciders have a reputation that reaches far and wide. In 2007 West Croft Janet's Jungle Juice was voted Champion Cider of Great Britain in 2007 by CAMRA (at a blind tasting of over 150 ciders). It was also runner up in 2008.

13/09/11 - Two More Producers Go Live

Therealalecompany.co.uk are delighted to announce that two more producers are now live on the site for both trade and public sales.

The third brewery to go live is North Yorkshire Brewing Co. The Brewery is based at Pinchinthorpe Hall near Guisborough, a privately owned Country House Hotel which is situated in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The North Yorkshire Brewing Company produces over 20 organic cask and bottled ales utilising the same source of spring water that has been in use for over 1000 years. Using traditional brewing techniques and superb organic ingredients the ales from the North Yorkshire Brewery are sure to be a winner. Beers produced at North Yorkshire Brewing Co are certified organic by the Organic Food Federation.

Our second cider producer is Tricky Cider. Tricky Cider produces traditional farmhouse cider in the Blackdown Hills on the Somerset, Devon border. The cider is 100% juice and pressed from a carefully selected blend of local cider apples to produce a crisp, clear, drink of the finest quality. Tricky Cider is also the first Cider producer to supply their 20 litre and 10 litre boxes nationally via our innovative Cider 2 U service, click here for more details.

We welcome both of these producers to our stable of suppliers and look forward to bringing you more in the very near future. We now have over 30 producers committed to selling via therealalecompany.co.uk and we are working with each of them to bring their products live on the site as soon as possible.
